Welcome to Blessed Sacrament School.

Blessed Sacrament Catholic School is rich in history, tradition, and the Catholic faith. We are located in Savannah’s beautiful Ardsley Park community, a stone’s throw away from the historic district and a quick drive from both Wilmington and Tybee islands and Savannah’s Midtown and Southside areas. This ideal location makes Blessed Sacrament a central choice for families seeking Catholic schools near Savannah.

Established in 1939 with just three classrooms and two Sisters of Mercy, Blessed Sacrament School today boasts two classes for each grade level from Pre-K through 8th grades, with a vibrant community of approximately 455 students. Our staff of more than 60 qualified professionals is dedicated to providing an environment where every child can learn and experience success, distinguishing us among the private schools in Savannah.

As a school accredited by AdvancED, we offer a rigorous faith-based academic program that includes many subjects and extracurriculars. In addition to core subjects, Blessed Sacrament offers technology and STEAM, art, music, and physical education, ensuring that our offerings are as comprehensive as they are engaging.

Bishop Stephen D. Parkes: Blessed Sacrament Catholic School is part of the Catholic Diocese of Savannah, under the spiritual leadership of Bishop Stephen Parkes. As the fifteenth Bishop of the Diocese of Savannah, Bishop Parkes plays a pivotal role in guiding the spiritual well-being of Catholics in South Georgia. His office is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the diocese, ensuring that our school remains aligned with the teachings and values of the Catholic Church.

Superintendent Of Schools – Diocese of Savannah Carrie Jane Williamson: The Superintendent of Schools for the Diocese of Savannah collaborates closely with Bishop Parkes to oversee the educational institutions within the diocese. This office ensures that our faith-based educational mission is faithfully executed, empowering students to grow in their faith while receiving a high-quality academic education.

The Rev. David Koetter, Pastor, Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church: Our school is under the spiritual care of Reverend David Koetter, who serves as the Pastor of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Father Koetter’s presence and guidance are integral to our school community, as he offers pastoral support and spiritual direction to our students, families, and staff.
