Lighthouse Leadership (formerly Student Council)
Mission Statement: The Student Lighthouse Leadership Team will inspire and lead the entire student body so that every child will leave Blessed Sacrament with the ability to make a difference.
On August 24th a group of 41 5th-8th grade student leaders gathered at Camp Villa Marie. These students make up our 2017-2018 Student Lighthouse Leadership Team (formerly the traditional Student Council platform). These individuals have been chosen to be a part of one of the greatest changes we have made yet! The students prayed, collaborated, drew a vision, discussed how to lead by example, learned how to teach Leader in Me lessons to other homerooms, were trained on how to be ambassadors for events, and developed a Mission Statement for their team.
