At Blessed Sacrament, we believe in growing the future leaders of tomorrow. We offer many leadership and character-building opportunities through academics as well as through school and community athletics.
Membership in the Blessed Sacrament School Student Lighthouse Team is gained through application and selection. Team members collaborate closely with the staff Lighthouse Team to positively impact students, staff, families, and the wider community.
Members will help plan leadership events and opportunities throughout the school year. Members are expected to attend monthly meetings, crucial for maintaining the high standards of Blessed Sacrament Catholic School. Attendance is required to maintain membership. All absences must be made in writing and approved by the advisor in advance to be excused.
The Student Lighthouse Team, representing the leadership spirit of Blessed Sacrament School, takes charge of nominating and electing team officers To be eligible to run for president, vice president, secretary, or treasurer, a student must be a rising 5th-8th grader with an “S” in conduct.
Our Student Lighthouse Team is assigned a lower school class and meets with them once a month for Leader Lessons. These lessons focus on the virtue of the month and fostering the development of leadership qualities among the students of one of the leading private schools in Savannah.
